Swamphunter
I would love to put this in a Poll format, but since Obama was elected how many forum members have purposely joined the NRA? I know that gun sales is WAY up, so this question came to mind. Since my intention is NOT to get political comments, its only about joining the NRA, hopefully we can keep it in the lounge so more people see it. I myself have not yet joined the NRA, but will immed. after the holidays.

Guest Finn
I've been a life member for years. No other organization works more for gun owners than the NRA. I don't mind them asking for money...and rarely give more...but people must understand the war against the anti-gunners ain't free.

Dakota
Don't harp on me here, but I haven't been a big fan of the NRA since they ridiculed Jim Zumbo and endorsed the SD Democrats for Congress. I might join, but I have a little bit of a beef with them. You are right about gun sales, however, we are sold out of all ARs where I work at Sportsman's Warehouse. unioncountyslayer
I'm a member as well. I'm also a member of Grass Roots of NC. Check out your local/state organizations and join up with them also. I know the NRA does a LOT for us nationally, but State organizations go to bat for you on a local/state level. The more power/money we put towards gun legislation the better!

It seemed like such a simple thing to do, a small exercise in self control, that you've asked people to accomplish..yet some fail miserably. I've been a member of the NRA since 2002
QDMAworks4me
I joined the day after the election, the phones were ringing off the hook the day after and the internet was so busy the server was down and could not take memberships at that time so I called. Dakota I think we all ridiculed him, I know I did! He had no right making that comment because hunting is hunting as long as the state deems it legal! As far as the SD dems, they must of had a good rating from the NRA for them to endorse them. BTW, I am not harping on you either! Either way, there is nobody else that is fighting for your rights to own a firearm or HUNT bigger than the NRA. Been a life member since the first clinton takeover! LOL! LifeNRA
As far as I am concerned. If your a gun owner and hunter, and not a member, your part of the problem! But don't worry, we will continue to support the NRA so YOU CAN HUNT AND SHOOT!!! JMHO!!!
