I take that back. Yall are really sarcastic.
Look,... you asked a question and we are really trying to help you. You seem to have your heart set on a Katera so go ahead and buy it if that's what you want. Nobody here is going to stop you from doing that. The bottom line is, you asked for advice when you already had your mind made up...

Good luck with your new Katera. ;)

I'm sure there are pro shops around that will let you shoot the bows. Check the website for hoyt, mathews, or whatever, they should have a place where you can check for dealers in your area. Just because you go and shoot one there, doesn't mean you have to buy it from there, go and shoot em, your spending lots of $$ on it, you need to be sure it is something you want. A lot of people go into a shop thinking that they know exactly what type of bow they want, and end up buying something totally different after shooting a few different ones. Hoyt, Mathews, Bowtech, all make great bows.

I think what hutchies is saying is that they are clearing out the 08' models to make more room for the new models of 09' like the ALPHAMAX ... ;)

$475.00 is like $300 less than I paid for my Katera .. heck of a price .. ;):)

Exactly............they have quite a few in stock and have a bunch of Hoyt bows from $300 to $475 on clearance
