buckbuster11
The date of the second picuture is Nov 19th and that's awful early for a buck to be losing his rack. But, looking at the body of these deer, man they look the same. It sort of looks like you can see two "holes" in between the ears in the second picture where the rack could have been also. What do you guys/gals think?
slughunter
Im thinking that the bottom picture is just a really nice doe. -shane
LifeNRA
Im thinking that the bottom picture is just a really nice doe. -shane Thats what I think as well. The top pic, you can see how far the ears are apart for antler growth. While the bottom pic, the ears are closer together. Plus you can see the tarsal glands on the top pic are still dark, where as the bottom pic is not.

Tominator
Looks like a monster doe John. Also, look at the fur line of brown to white on both deer. The doe's white line comes up higher. Dew claws give it away too. Not the same deer IMHO.

Strut10
Compare the tarsel glands.... I doubt they would loose that color over 2 or 3 weeks.... its deff a big doe... EXACTLY what I came here to reply. Great minds, huh?????? :D:D 2nd pic is definitely of a doe. Heck..........the bucks are still working scrapes around here. The tarsals would be all darkened on a buck.

hoythunter37
I would have to agree with the second pic bein a doe. She holds her ears a little higher then a buck would.
