TreeStandBowHunter
I see how this other guy is getting hammered for asking for ideas for tattoos so I figured I would show off my finished body as of today. I got my last 4 tattoos in the last month. Talk about a month of pain:D. Anyway, I got my last one today. Each of them have a meaning. Oh, one suggestion about tattoos, I have them on my upper arms, back, and chest...Be very careful where you get your tattoos placed. When you go for that job interview someday...or if you ever need to...they might not like what they see. All of my tattoos...well...when I retire from the Marines in four years and I go into my job interview, they won't see any of my tattoos because I don't think I will be going in there with my shirt off...JMHO:D;) Well being that hockey is my favorite sport, I figured why not get a hockey tattoo This is the konji one that I got today...this is my last and final tattoo:rolleyes: These dragons I got a little over a week ago (5 hours worth :eek:) and being that we had another boy (middle of dragons), we couldn't leave his name off my back either...it just wouldn't be fair to him:D Edited December 14, 2008 by TreeStandBowHunter

Tominator
Ahhhh, just what I needed with my morning coffee. A picture of a Marine's hairy armpit. Thanks Gunny, and thanks for leaving the nipple out of the pic. Not a fan of tats at all, but those dragons are cool Mike. I have a cousin that gets a tat EVERY WEEK. Once a week he gets a little added to this giant one he has all over his back. Crazy.
backwoods07
Addicting, aren't they? I have three and have been trying to put off numbers four and five for a while now...All in concealed spots And no, that's not dirty
OJR
Hey Gunny, you go through all that and can't have a simple cut on a certain part of your body because of the pain! Typical reasoning by a "jarhead"! LOL!!!
The_Kat
The dragons awesome! Did it hurt? I have heard two different stories....my buddy got a huge cross on his back and said it hurt bad....the other, a girl, got angels wings on her back and she said it didn't hurt bad at all. Ladybird
Great art I love the dragons also,I have 2 dragons as well as a couple others the longest I've been under the needle is 3 and a half hours,I agree they are additive:) But I love them. All of my tattoo's are also concealed for the same reason. You have a good artist that did your tattoo's. TreeStandBowHunter
She does great work. I figured something out about tattoos...no matter how big or small they are, no matter where they are engraved on your body, THEY HURT. That little konji one that I got yesterday took 4 1/2 hours less then those dragons did and it hurt just as bad. There towards the end I think I did have some tears come to my eyes with those dragons, that was a little too much for me, never again:D...I almost tapped out and told her to finish the next day or something. The last 1/2 hour she kept going back and touching up places and it just made it hurt worse then it already did. They look real nice now that all the bruising is gone. The redness you see in the dragons is all bruising. They are pretty much all gray now and look pretty sweet. Just the outline on the dragons took about 2 hours. I am done though. That little konji one hurt enough to remind me how done I am:D. It's someone elses turn:D. Your welcome for leaving the nipple out...I figured showing my nipple in here was pointless:p Wife was there for the first three hours of the dragons talking to me so that helped me a lot. But then she had to go home and feed the baby so the last two hours I was left helpless and on my own:rolleyes:. You notice how OJR is always making a comment about Jarheads. Does someone else get the sense of jealousy or something:D:p It's okay Orlan, not everyone is cut out to be a Marine:D:p. And your right, I will sit there for five hours and get a tattoo then get a vasectomy. Oh by the way, my wife got her tubes tied...talk about taking one for the home team "eh":D

Jeramie
You are one tough dude---I would have wimped out after about 5 minutes! I too am in the wimp boat... Needles moving in at out at light speed injecting ink does not constitute a good day in my book... Nice work though.
