Bowtech_archer07
I see my first shooter buck of the year.. and I kill him. He is a typical 9 with some character. On his brow tine he's got a cool little fish hook at the top. He came in just after 7 this morning and was at about 80 yards when I took the shot. I caught the back end on 1 lung and pulverized the bottom of the liver. He only ran 60 yards and piled up. I was excited to say the least. He's the only deer i've seen on the hoof all year that would score over 85 inches.... and I wish I was exaggerating... but I'm not. I know I don't look it it in the pic, but I really am pumped about taking this deer. He is my first buck on the property I was hunting, my first buck with a muzzleloader, and my second deer overall with my muzzleloader.. I guessed his age at 3.5, and haven't scored him yet, so let's play the always favorite... "GUESS THE SCORE"???? PICS:eek:

Bowtech_archer07
I now know the score, but will keep y'all guessing... ccwhitey you just keep your mouth shut!!! Oneida man, I am pretty sure that he is older than 2.5. He had a nice sized body on him. Also, i've taken 2 or 3 bucks that were tooth-aged at 2.5 and they didn't even come close to touching this buck in body or rack size.... JMO;), I could be wrong though.. Straight Shooter
Nice buck, but I don't see him being bigger than 110", he's got good tine length but main beams only look about 18-19" long and spread is about 15". I'd have to see the tape if he's over 120.
Hoyt03
I gave him the benefit of the doubt in my measurements and I came up with 132 give or take a couple. I'm gonna go with somewhere between 128 and 132. By the way nice buck and way to get it done. Congrats
KirkV
I think 2.5 year old and 122" gross
Straight Shooter
This a buck my brother got in Ohio this year, just curious to know what you think this one will score? It's always interesting to see everyone's guess.
Guest Primetime/IL
straight shooter, From the pic he looks to be around 110"
fly
Bowtech,Glad to hear things worked out for ya. Great deer! I'd say 120 inches gross. The age is hard to tell from the pictures, but 2.5 or 3.5 seems right. Get the teeth aged and lety us know. I know that pictures (even antlers themselves) can be deceiving. Maybe he is closer to 130 inches??? My buck this year was heavy and wide (I thought he'd be 130's easy). I measured him at only 127 gross. Straightshooter,Congratulations to your brother on a nice deer as well.Looks like he's 3.5 years old and that he'll go about 110-115 inches. My 08 buck that I measured at 127 gross attached. What hurt was that the main beams were shorter than the spread.

Straight Shooter
Great deer flyerla! You guys are close, this guy has got a 19" inside spread and you'd be surpirsed on the amount of guys that guessed him to be over the 130-140 mark.
