It's momma been hanging out in the woodshed with a woodpecker. Must be a ruffed grousepecker. Or possibly a ruffed obama grouse,,,,,,,heck I don't know, lol. I told my co-worker I thought it looked like a ruffed grouse, but he then said it had a really long beak so I'm not 100% sure. All other characteristics lead to it being a grouse. So who knows. That leads me alway from grouse, but again i don't really know. Not sure where u are but it could be a Wood Cock, a big one but we have shot a few big ones in the area we hunt.
