Hoyt fanatic
Are there any other people that shoot competitively? I mean guns, not bows.

Jeramie
Nope, but I would like too. A guy I work with brings in his targets. I guess he wins a lot. Im shooting about as tight as he is so im curious on how I would do. However, I just dont have the time!
Doc
I don't do any official competition shooting. Of course when my brother-in-law comes down from Canada, we have a lot of fun bench-rest shooting. About the only competition is me vs. my gun and reloads. It's a lot of fun, but I am too far away from any organized competition to get too serious. Besides, when you step into competition, the cost of equipment starts to sky-rocket. I'm afraid my little $200 scope probably wouldn't fare all that well....lol. Doc
HoosierDaddy28
I used to shoot competitive skeet and trap in college. One of the most fun experiences of my life.
LifeNRA
I used to shoot pistol competition years ago. Just got too busy into other things. I still have all my equipment yet just in case I start back again.
m gardner
I haven't done any competition in a few years. I shot some sort of combat handgun discipline for a long time. It seemed that it was fun when a new game started, then people lost sight of that and went techno nuts with the equipment. The last one was IDPA. It started as a place to practice and compete with defensive pistols and was fun. If you compete it'll get expensive in a hurry. Ammo even if you cast your own bullets and load your own is expensive. I shot at least 30,000 rounds a year. The most fun I ever had was with the ragtag group of skeet shooters at the league in Grand Junction, Co. They were great shots but didn't let that get in the way of a good time. Go to a club somewhere and see if you like the people there. Then if you do get into some competition. PA_Spike_King
Yep, I used to shoot in 22 match, standing at 28 feet I think it was. Then I got married and it's all history now. LOL
hangunnr
Did some serious NRA Conventional pistol competition back in the 90's. Made the National Civilian Pistol Team in '95. Played in USPSA matches for a couple years, shot some of the bigger matches but never really got the itch to be serious about it. I keep telling myself that I'm gonna get back to it but I may just be kidding myself... hangunnr
