What type of choke tube and what type of load i should use. I want to get suggestions before buying. I got rid of my stoeger2000 becuase I could not find a good combination and spent a lot of money trying to perfect it. so hopefully this nova will be worth it, thanks to all. EKYhunter
Skip all of the trying different loads/chokes business. Go to www.indiancreekss.com, contact them and buy the blackdiamond strike choke tube they recommend for your gun. Then go to www.nitrocompany.co, contact them and order a box of H51013A 4X5X7 hevi shot. You will have the BEST choke/load combo for your gun, period. There is no better performance to be had. Welcome to the forums btw!
Jake Lake
I also own a Benelli 3.5"..I killed 2 turkeys this fall with the factory full-choke tube and used Federal 3.5" Strut-Shok loads..#4 shot.
Strut10
I'm a firm believer in the XXX-Full Comp-N-Choke tube with a Winchester Supreme #6 shotshell. This combo has consistently produced the tightest lead shot patterns in all the guns I've tried it in.
HUNTINGMAN
I put a primos jelly head in my super nova and shoot winchester supremes in #5 shot. This is a leathal combo that dosent break the bank, although I think I will try heavy shot this season. PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
When I was in the market for a turkey hunting choke I looked at a number sold over the counter and thought man this is going to be a real chore to get the best for my shotgun. My son suggested a comp-n-choke. I called the company and they asked me a bunch of questions as to barrel length, shot size, length of chamber, model of shotgun and more. Then the guy said our company has 18 years of experience in shotgun chokes and here is what we recommend for your setup. Man he was right on my turkey gun is better than I ever could have hoped for.
