I was shooting my Nikon D300 with my 20 year old all manual Tamron 300 2.8 lens on a window mount. No metering on it at all, plus manual focus. About 15 minutes before I switched the camera to RAW because it was getting darker. the camera was at 1/350 of a second at f2.8 and I had the ISO at 3200. I should of had the camera probably down to 1/60 sec or less. the pictures were still quite a bit dark, but in RAW I can compensate for it without washing out the picture. If I would of left the camera on Jpg, I would of lost quite a bit of detail lightening the picture. Jack Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
