It's not a monster buck but for the area thats a great buck. Oh and Dad said next year if I want to we can hunt up there:D I'm going to start digging on some maps there is a ton of land up there to hunt. m gardner
If there are no roads, no food plots and wild deer you've done something special. True backcountry is hard hunting. Nice deer. Mark

Nice deer. Mark There ain't nothing back in some of the parts this area is in and some other areas I know of. But next year thats where I'll be at back in that land somewhere. Where he was at I think there are some roads but there just state roads that are mainly blocked off. Not real sure where it was taken but it was back in the Cranberry Back Country. They closed doe hunting in this area last year because there were pretty much no deer in the area at all because all of them have been killed out. njbowhntr
I find some nice spots in the Tygart Lake area that is out in the middle of nowhere. The one I found is about a 3/4-1mile hike in. Needless to say I get back in there for the day. Even on state land I never see anyone back in there. Not alot of fun pulling the bucks out of there though. But worth it.

bruse
Nice deer....there is a spot down at Indian Creek I hunt in Summers and Monroe County that I am trying to get my dad and uncle to hunt. I know the back forty isn't hunted hard if at all since most people hunt close to the road. Congrats on the great buck bruse
