stevebeilgard
isn't a bit more effective to plow the snow AFTER it snows?? at least that's what i generally do.

Not when you have a brand new toy to plow with. No snow for us yet this year. Supposed to get a little freezing rain tonight though. Gonna be a rain event for us for the most part I guess. *grumble*

JJL
You bunch of sissies...................... We've gotten about 36"-40" in the last week, it's part of life. The little town of Silverton just South of us has picked up over 70" in the last week. You just keep going. School never closes and the plows keep running. On a lighter note it has managed to push a herd of about 50 Elk into the neighborhood, I'll see if I can get you some pics. I always get a charge how 12" can cripple the Midwest .....................around here it's called a heavy frost.
PotashRLS
I couldn't help but laugh. I got home from work last night and my wife was in a real ugly mood. Come to find out our Shorthair Pointer by the name of Baxter "watered" our tree. I told her not to get one of the darn fake trees. Seems Baxter doesn't like it either! Take the quads and ride black bear pass. I miss those days. My aunt still lives in Pagosa Springs.
