KirkV
That's right central Illinois is in the direct middle of it. It has been raining for about 1 hour and is supposed to continue all night.I just went out and put 50 pounds of ice melt out ...slowly so I did not fall on my god given padding! It is already a icy mess, I hope it does not get as bad as out east. I still like having power! Kirk

Tominator
We were right on the edge of it. My kids got delayed, and we probably should have been, but we sponsor a Sr. citizens lunch every year before we go on break, so we opened up for them. stevebeilgard
I'll take snow to ice any day. drive safe, all. slow down. we always had 4 x 4 vehicles (still do) and i always told my kids that 4 wheel drive doesn't help you stop at all. so consider your stopping distances
