There is no option for both. :D:D

We head to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve (it is only about 40 miles away). We spend the entire day there, and usually get home around midnight, sometimes later. Then we are here at the house all day Christmas Day. My aunt, uncle, and cousins who live down the road come over and we exchange gifts with them. We have breakfast together and then they head to my uncles parents house. The day after Christmas, they come back over and have dinner. The last couple years I have deep fried a turkey, will be doing that again this year.:)

We get together with my Dad's family Christmas Eve, then my Mom's family Christmas day.

Thankfully, we've moved back home and the drive is 20 minutes or so :)

Sure don't miss the holiday traffic ;)

Cooking xmas dinner now that my husband surprised me with my gift early,,,a new black lab which we get tomorrow, so duck hunting is out for the morning. Friends are coming for dinner and I can't wait to see my new puppy...I think I am going to call him Hunter, since I am planning on training him to duck hunt.. Have a wonderful holiday all. God Bless Nancy we put up pick when I get him

Every year Steve cooks up a big turkey on Christmas eve (I help after work) and we invite anyone we know who'll be alone for the holiday.

It's a different mix every year. Friends, neighbors and sometimes strangers, but always a good time.

We've had up to 12 people one year. This year I think there will only be 1 or 2. None would be great since that would mean that no one we know will alone this year.

We will be home.

Our son and his family are coming over on Christmas Eve. Lutefisk and Swedish meatballs on the menu.

Christmas Day is just going to be me and my wife. We are going to see if a guy can come over. He is dying of cancer and doesn't have any family. If he is able, I will go and get him and he can get out for a couple of hours!
