Tominator
Didn't really see a whole lot here either. The most notable thing was the lack of roadkill. I only saw 1 or 2 bucks on the side of the road.

njbowhntr
Pops was down early Nov with the bow and again over Thanksgiving with the rifle. We hunt just outside Belington. He never saw any rut activity. Usually we would see some goings on around Thanksgiving, but nothing this year.

Normally we see the rutting activity rut there in the 2 weeks before gun season opens up that week. I mean we didn't even see as many scrapes as we normally do I mean they were there we saw quite a few just not as many.
VtBowhunter
Arrow32, I was down bowhunting during the first week of your bowseason, and we saw a lot of bucks chasing and even called and rattled in a few small ones. Seems like your rut kicked in very early this year......at least around Lewis County.
IN_hunter
saw very minimal rutting activity here in west central IN. I saw maybe 3 scrapes and only one very small 4 pointer chasing.

njbowhntr
I noticed here in NJ that that rut was broken up between the full moon in October and the full moon in November. Two small ones, different from the traditional big one in November.
