fly
Go to the Pope and Young Link below: http://www.pope-young.org/minimum-scores_charts.asp Find the type of deer you will be scoring and decide if you will use the typical or non-typical score sheets. Then fill in the blanks. My first time using them a couple years ago I was 5 inches lower than than an official measurer. In case you didn't know: Boone and Crocket uses the same system. B&C has a higher minimum entry score and doesn't restrict to bow and arrow.
Tominator
How do you score a deer? Depends on who you talk to, lol. Sorry, little pet peeve of mine. Flyer has it. Go to the link he provided and add it up, or go here and this link you can put in the numbers and it calculates it automatically for you. http://www.boone-crockett.org/bgRecords/bc_scoring_typwhitetail.asp?area=bgRecords&type=Typical+Whitetail+Deer
