browning_gold_12
well, its over . no more MOJO's in Arkansas . but truthfully, by the time they saw them from canada to here in camden, they weren't that effective anyway. so here it is. take the motor, battery and switch out of your mojo, mont the motor to a 3/4'' block of wood about 3 1/2 in. by 3 1/2 in., cut a hole in a magnum mallard drake deke, mount the block of wood into the inside of the deke either using liquid nails etc., or sheetrock screws from the keel side. if you use this method, be sure and put some silicone on the inside and under the head of the screw before tightening. use plywood for the block and there will be less chance of it splitting. you will probably have to take the wing shaft off of one side for clearance of the battery. next, take the pin out of your wing and go to welding shop and have them weld a piece of 1/2'' key stock about an inch long to the pin at a 90 degree angle from the motor so it will run out of balance. this in turn will give your deke alot of motion on the water! I just finished mine, it is sitting in the sink at the fire station right now! our tax dollars at work . i suggested using a magnum deke because of the room and also the flotation. i plan to fill up the voids in mine with expanding foam cause the battery is pretty heavy. if you have any better ideas, let me know!
