Dakota
Ah! I can't wait for the spring and summer when I can break out my Cabela's Series rods and reels and start fishing again! :D:D There is a small private lake that I have access to through an elderly couple at our church. I have never seen such a diversity in one small lake! I can catch bluegills, huge slabs of crappie, perch (on average 9 inches), walleye (some big ones too! I had one get off right as I got it on the dock last summer that was pushing 28"), smallmouth bass and even flathead catfish! I was out in a small bass boat with a trolling motor one afternoon and ended up hooking into a 20lb. flathead! The thing drug me all over the lake and almost took me and the boat down with him into the depths! :D:D I though it was a huge walleye at first, but then saw whiskers as I reeled it closer. A few buddies on land where able to help me get him off. What a fish though to come out of a small 6-7 acre lake! Yeah, I'm getting the itch to fish! :D:D Dakota

muggs
You can always go ice fishing. You do live in SD ya know. If you do, just make sure you go with someone with experience (and the right gear).

bluelund79
Been hitting the gills and crappies real nice on the solid water out here in WI. I actually like ice fishing better than open water-less boating idiots....
