Shaun_300
My cousin and I went out and test shot my Ruger M77 Mark II .25-06 on Friday with some really impressive results. I put the Bushnell Elite 3200 3-10x40 on it and we took it out to sight it in, first shot was only 1 1/2" right and 1 1/2" low at 60 yards. I dialed it up and it was shooting dead on within 4 shots. Shot 10-15 rounds out of it and each shot the bullet holes were touching eachother! I know it's only 60 yards, I can't wait to get this baby out to 300 yards to see what it does! I know one thing, the wolves are in serious trouble this year!!!! :D

bluelund79
Make sure you post some pics for us jealous folks down south of you who arent "allowed" to wack them pests....25.06 is a great round...Wish my Ruger in the same caliber was as good as yours was.....I know my Tikka sure is! What grain bullet are you shooting out of the Ruger? I am using the Hornady SST and the SP in 117gr...Now its time to start handloading.... I'm shooting 120gr Winchester Super-X Postitive Expanding Points out of it now. May experiment with the same round in 90gr.
PotashRLS
Give Oneida Man and Finn a call, they probably have a few extra wolves up there no one would miss:eek: Of course I in no way condone that type of behavior and my post does not reflect the views of the Realtree Forums, usually:rolleyes:
Chrud
Give Oneida Man and Finn a call, they probably have a few extra wolves up there no one would miss:eek: Heck, they are a problem in our area too (northcentral Wisconsin). I really wish the DNR would look at doing something about all the wolves. Glad you like the new gun, Shaun. I'm looking for a smaller caliber for my Encore Pro Hunter that could be used for predators and maybe whitetails too. I like what I'm hearing about the .25-06.
