A player can hand a ball to a fan and its only like $150 (price of the ball). Guess the NFL was afraid of a fan getting hit by the ball and set a fine to try and curb players from throwing the ball into the stands. $1500 seems a little steep for just throwing a ball into the stands...yet these guys also make millions...so why even have the fine?
