ruttinbuc
As most of you know, I had the pleasure of joining Randy Oitker, his dad Randy, and sister Tiffany on a trip to New York. His reasons for coming east was to pick up a new toy he bought on ebay..... Randy and company followed me to my place where he parked the new purchase... We all piled into the rental and headed to the big city... Needless to say it was quite the adventure... Street hustler: This guy wants to "give" Randy a copy of his new hip hop CD Randy checks it, says OK and the guy then says he needs a $10 donation and he'll sign it.... He then tells the scammer to kiss off... We continue down Fifth Avenue Randy's little sister Tiffany who wants to be a fashion designer TO BE CONTINUED..... OJR
Great pictures! Randy's new toy is great, but the only thing he might be able to haul in it is a turkey, if he hits it! LOL! As for NYC, those pictures bring back memories of why I don't want to go back there!

Swamphunter
Wow awesome pics! Never been to NYC myself...too far to travel I guess, but the wife is pestering me to go. Glad you guys had a great time........can't wait for more pics!
HuntnMa
looks like a good time, but theres no way you'd get me in that city for more than 5 minutes, it looks way too busy for me....
KirkV
Looks like a lot of fun was had, but I have to agree I would never want to get too close to that mad house. Randy the toy looks great and I am sure you can come up with some type of trailer hitch to haul your deer home on.........REALLY FAST. wtnhunt
Nice pics Mike. Really don't care for crowds, just too many people for me. Can remember now why I have never been back to New York City.
Adjam5
Jeez you guys acted like a bunch of tourists:D What! No Central park looking for THE coyote running around or the few turkeys that are familiar to the great lawn:) Looks like you had a good time. Oooo a Vette...Betcha you had to take it easy on the way home and it killed ya:p.Good Luck with it. What all of you have said, about NYC being crowded, dirty, loaded with street hustlers, noisy and fast fast fast ALL the time. You are correct. That is why tree stand tranquility is pursued. I can't wait to leave/retire either. Just keep in mind...America started here...a place called New Amsterdam for $24 and some beads. Dawg
Cool pics. That sure is a lot of folks on one street.....I think there were as many people on that one street as there are in the whole town I grew up in!! Nice Vette BTW. Rem308
Haha, great pictures. I think it's funny seeing Randy's camo in the middle of NY and all the crowds. I haven't been to NYC in a few years, it's a nice place to visit, but after a few days I'm always ready to head back to the mountains. Grant-KS
Cool pictures, but I'm not coming close to that place. I got dizzy just looking at the pictures. Also, Realtree makes good camo, but it just doesn't work in NYC. LOL Congrats on the new toy!
stevebeilgard
orlan said exactly what i was thinking. i wouldn't want to go there if it was free. great looking car, randy. but so was your last vette.
RTPROFamily
When Randy bought his last corvette, it wasn't exactly what he wanted. It was a red automatic and he really wanted a blue 6 speed. So, when he found this one he bought it and he is going to give his red one to his sister on her 15th birthday in April. I just talked with Randy and they are about 150 miles away from home. They had to pull over this morning and sleep for a couple of hours . After he gets hay out to the cows ,he will get on the forums and tell about his NY.experience, Darla
c_lou
Awesome pics. That looks like a busy place to be.
VermontHunter
Nope, NO big city stuff for me ... I like the color of the Vette, I hope it's all he wants from a sports car ... CONGRATS Randy it's well deserved on your part ..
nativetexan
Ok. You got your vette and saw NYC. Now, get yer butt out there and put some hay out for the cows. Momma said so. It is a nice vette though..great pics too. The last time I went to the city, I almost got a divorce and came close to committing homicide after one too many close calls with a taxi. Soooo..No more NYC for me.

Leo
I seriously doubt I could get in that car and drive it. My knees would end up being beside my ears if I tried Good thing I never got the sportscar bug because I sure don't fit in them. I'm sure that's a nice ride though and happy you got what you were looking for. Great pictures Ruttinbuc. You really captured quite a bit of what it's like to be in New York. Especially the street hustler part.

Shaun_300
Great pics! Congrats on the new Corvette Randy, that's a sharp looking ride! I'm with ya on preferring the 6-speed over the auto.
