Turkeygirl
I was going to hunt those pheasants after work, but I think they'll win this season....it's bad outside. I'm going in late because the plow hasn't gone up our country backroad, typical of course. It's snowing and blowing hard so we have like a 1 foot drift over the whole driveway. And the wind chills...let's not mention those....it's frigid:eek: Hopefully I can get over to the college prior to 9am as the community bank is there so sidewalks needs to be shoveled and the post office needs to be vacuumed and trash taken out....Happy New Year's Eve with a snow storm, yee haa:rolleyes:
KirkV
Be carefull out there, and we got lucky and missed the snow here in central Illinois but I thought the wind last night was going to carry the house away. Have a safe and happy new year! Kirk

PotashRLS
Lots of wind and snow here today too. Wind chills around -13. At this rate this winter, cabin fever is going to come.........tomorrow:D Used to not mind it but when it affects work and everyday outside is a struggle, that is if its suitable weather to work outside (above 0 or so). The snow piles and drifts just don't allow you to function. Going to be another tough winter:(

OJR
It sounds like the storm that went through here a few days ago! We have it about 40 here this morning and almost all the snow has melted! It is great!

RangerClay
I know it's nasty out there but with Patterson cutting our pheasant rearing program you may want to enjoy it while it lasts.
PotashRLS
Wish we had some snow right now. The first foot or two is okay, but each foot after that gets old. My snowblower can't throw it over the banks at the end of my driveway anymore. Sooooo..............be careful what you wish for!!

wtnhunt
No snow here, but it is cold and windy, pretty bitter north wind. Got a cow that just calved too, figures just the way my luck goes. Will be near 50 tomorrow, too bad she did not wait a day. Got to get the cow and calf in the barn and hope the little one stays warm enough overnight.
ruttinbuc
So much for filling my permit bow tag...No way I am going to hunt in this wind. A little dusting of snow would be nice, but it missed us. Have to go and renew my license for 2009 to winter bow hunt. Maybe I'll go and stomp up some rabbits, too. Good luck with interview, Ruth.
