KirkV
That's right, this year I have worked out a deal with my local taxidermist to get a free mount of this years buck . I installed and calibrated a load cell and older digital scale so he can weight the deer he has come into the shop before he capes them out! He ran a contest for the heavy buck this year because of it. Now I am trying to decide on whether I want a pedastal mount for this buck or if I want a mount of him rubbing on a tree or post. By the way anybody seen any good rub type of mounts? If you have any pics please post them here. Thanks Kirk
punkinslinger
I think that buck would look good as a wall/ped mount.

toddyboman
considering you all ready have a pedestal mount I would go for the rubbing on a tree or post mount. I have saw some cools ones before.....however I don't have any pics.
Zambo
That buck would look awsome any way you have him mounted. Stud antlers and a real pretty cape. I love the coloration of his head.
Ladybird
that is an awesome looking buck,I agree it would look good with either mount that you choose
wtnhunt
I agree that buck is going to look great any way you have him mounted Kirk. I don't have any pedestal mounts, so that would probably be the route I would go. Might look through some catalogs like Wasco or Van Dykes to help with ideas.
