stevebeilgard
for the anti gun movement. for the past 30 years more folks own guns, have concealed weapons at a record rate, and more folks carry and use guns. and for the past 30 years, the crime rate with guns has gone DOWN. remember, they told us that the rates would skyrocket with more people carrying guns, but they are now clearly wrong. so, all that is left for them is lies. ;) the truth will only hurt them. buckee
In today's world, the "Truth" is frowned on in more ways than one. It seems that fiction, and fantasy rule the day.
wtnhunt
Unfortunately the truth will never be told to the public by the Obama loving media. Afraid Joe is right here Steve. The media for the most part does a mighty fine job of exploiting any negative attention they can and avoiding the truth on topics like this. I could be wrong, but I don't suspect the evening news on the 3 major networks would broadcast this type of thing.

The_Kat
I'm proud to carry concealed. To be honest, I think the sad truth of the WHOLE deal is there aren't enough people who care enough about our rights to own guns. It seems like theres alot, due to the people we surround ourselves with, yet alotta folks don't even own a gun.
johnf
Arkansas is on the brink of passing a right to open carry law and we only have 6 "gun control" laws, ranking us almost on the bottom of the Brady campaigns "Gun safe states" to live. It's good to be in a small backward state. BTW I walked into a shop the other day and walked out 5 minutes later packing.
Strut10
Don't try to confuse the lefties with facts. The concept confuses and irritates them.

It seems like theres alot, due to the people we surround ourselves with, yet alotta folks don't even own a gun. Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun(thats about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million. Removed those that skew the stats for thier own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of american households owning 260 million guns). That makes us outnumbered.
