Swamphunter
I have a question about my IPOD nano. Both my wife and I have Ipod Nano's, and use Apples software ITunes, to load the music into them. We like different styles of music, and we want to use the same program, but each have our own side of Itunes. Does anyone know how to set up Itunes so she can have her music only, and I can have just mine? If any can help me with this, I will PM you my phone number and maybe can walk me through setting it up this way. I called Apple a got some guy that barely spoke broken pakistani/english, and finally gave up after 3 calls there to get an American speaking gold ol'e US of A english. Thanks

Joe Wild
You can just open a new playlist & put your music on it & she can do the same on a playlist for her. Then when you connect your ipod set it so only your playlist is downloaded to it. Just look under the music tab when your ipod opens in itunes and check your playlist only & only the music in that playlist will be on your ipod. Hope this helps you. If not let me know. Tominator
Yep, seperate playlists is the way to go Ken. That's what my wife and I do.
unioncountyslayer
Two computers is the easiest way, but separate playlists works well enough. The way I do it is to "check" all of my wife's music, and only allow checked music on her ipod. I still have all of her music on my ipod, but over half of it I like anyway. VermontHunter
ITunes has no trouble managing multiple iPods regularly synced to the same computer. Here’s how to make it work: http://ipod.about.com/od/introductiontotheipod/ht/mult_ipods.htm Edited May 11, 2009 by Team Realtree Copyrighted material posted.
