MichiganHunter
well finally decided on my caliber, .44mag seams to be the do all of the hand gun world. I have found two almost identical Ruger Super Red Hawk .44 mag stainless. both are use but in perfect condition. 1. Any one have a ruger super red in .44, what do you think 2. what would be a good price for this gun assuming condition is great, no mark, scratchs ect. One has a rubber grip and the other has a wood grip, is one grip better than the other, this will be a hunting weapon.
PotashRLS
If you have been looking at the threads in hear you know I'm a big fan. My RSRH .44 drives tacks, plain and simple. I'm sure it shoots better than me. Price? I paid $459 plus tax in 1996 for mine. I see they are significantly higher now. I also like my Ruger Blackhawk single action in .41 mag. It shoots well also though I have not killed anything with it other than red squirrels around deer camp. The Blackhawk single action would treat you well if its more in your price range. Good luck and post pictures if you decide.
Flintlock1776
That is a good gun and you can hunt with it especially for bear. Try www.gunbroker.com to get an idea on new/used prices

WNY_Whitetailer
You will not be disappointed with that SRH...I like rubber grips on my hunting handguns...When I wear gloves the wood grips slip a little. Would you be purchasing a 7.5" model or the 9.5" model?
