buckbuster11
Football genius Matt Millen just said on NBC's halftime show "I believe the game is won in the trenches". This is the same guy who drafted a WR with his first round pick like 20 years in a row? I thought that was pretty funny. BTW---why is Matt Millen on NBC's halftime show? Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Millen was actually a pretty decent commentator/analyst before he destroyed the Lions. Why is he on there now? I dunno, IMO he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the game of football. Guest Finn
yeah, why would you have him share his football expertise on tv?
JJL
I was wondering the exact same thing myself ......... NBC must have figured, "What the Heck"..........We've already got Dan " I've never had an original thought" Patrick.......Keith " I've never had a thought" Olberman........Bob " This isn't my real hair color " Costas.........and Jerome " Maybe if I laugh alot people will not notice " Bettis...............We might as well have Matt " I know nothing about football" Millen. That's what the MUTE BUTTON was invented for...........
Tominator
BTW---why is Matt Millen on NBC's halftime show? I about choked on a potato chip when I saw that dude on the panel John. I said the same thing to my wife. I started laughing, and she's looking at me like I'm nuts and said "what's so funny?" I said, "see that dude? he was fired from the Lions GM position for his stellar performance and now NBC is asking him his advice..."
muggs
Wow...I'm really sorry I missed that. I would have ran to this PC to make this post. I love it. I'm surprised Keith Oberman didn't call him on it...

ruttinbuc
Well, at least he manned up and took responsibility for his failures. Certainly had enough time to turn things around. He is a local football talent here. Too bad he left it all on the playing field...

He is a local football talent here. Too bad he left it all on the playing field... If he would have manned up, he would have resigned 4 years ago. I cant believe he said the the game is won in the trenches!!!!! He sure as heck didnt draft that way. Heck it took him about 5 years before he actually picked a great wide receiver, after blowing first rd pick after first rd on WR's. Way to go Mr Ford!!!! AdvantageTimberLou
Asking football advice from Millen is like asking diet tips from Rosie! Now if you don't mind, I will go shoot pool with a rope! Millen.........................what a piece of work there!!!
MCH
Seriously?? What's he doing wasting his time on NBC when he could be preparing for his interview with the Browns. I, for one, hope he nails it.:D
