Gator
It's about that time again. I don't know how much I will shoot this year, seems like it isn't as important to me as it was a couple of years ago. I was obsessed with it back then, and wish I could get that fire back in my belly.
hutchies
First time I've ever shot indoor or Vegas face round.............. 275-4X's
ultratec1
I switched this year from BHFS to $MFS and it has been a hard transition. I went to a black dot instead of my green pin and started to get alittle bit of panic when that big black dot covered the whole target. I went back to my green pin and got aggressive with my bow arm and started finding the center once again. Shot a vegas face with couple of guys and ended up shooting a 299-26X. Man dropping that one kinda stunk but oh well. Also shot a 5 spot the other day and had to leave with 3 ends left. I had dropped one X. Shot today and shot half a 5 spot and was clean when I left. Just gotta remember to get my bow arm into it and get my release elbow into the shot also. This weekend is the K.C. pro-am and I will be shooting the $MFS class. Nothing better then getting your butt kicked by the big boys:D
hutchies
Keep your eyes open. I got a local buddy going to KC this weekend. His name is Jame Jamison. He's got the potential to shoot well in any class. He shot semi pro in OK for several years before getting out because of family problems.............He's been shooting Vegas face for the last 3 months dang near every day of the week and sometimes 3 to 4 games. I've seen him lay down several 300 27 to 29X games lately. If his mental game stays strong he will be hard to contend with. Even after being out for 3 years nobody has beat him here and he has only been shooting indoor again for the last few months.

Born2Hunt
Joe, I'm with you! I'm in need of some more practice. I shot a 352 out of 375 with only 27 x's. I took of all of last year so I hope it will come back.
hutchies
Shot my first 5 spot round ever last night. Shot a 285-28X. Should have been higher but on the last shot of the night I misfired resulting in a zero. Lots of room for improvement..............We did blind draw 3 partner last night for the money shootoff round. My team made the shootoff round and won so it was a sweet little surprise getting some money back on top of entry money.

hutchies
Well..............Due to some being late we only shot half a round of 5 spot with 1 warm up end. Still don't have my Apex 7 setup so I shot my Illusion with Sure Loc and the low power scope............142...........Don't remember the X count. This shooting BT is having it's ups and downs. Flinched on one tonight and shot a zero. I'll get thru it............it's getting easier. Oh and won $20 in the shootoff round...........Ching Ching. ultratec1
Hutchies let you pin float and let the shot happen and the 300 will come. The only important shot is the one your shooting at the time. Keep at it and you will get'er
hutchies
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm focusing on the X and pulling into the wall. Pin is floating a little more than I like. I have the 6X scope I haven't got setup yet and I'm hoping that will keep me from floating as much. ultratec1
Hutchies this is just my personal experience but when you go with a higher power lense the pin movement will be more dramatic. The biggest thing that I can tell you is that there WILL be pin movement no matter what. Even the best archers out there have it. The more that you watch that pin move the more it WILL move. Concentrate on the X. Focus on that X and execute your shot. Form and consistency will always win over pin chasing.
hutchies
Thanks bud for the Advice............I traded off a spot hogg release and got a Viper with 3X and .19 up pin in it so I'll have a 3X and 6X. Also got in both cams for my Mathews. Fixing to go set it up and see which one is more comfortable. We shot vegas face last night...............282 8X.............Man I hate Vegas. hutchies
Vegas face again tonight..............Shot a 293 with 14X's.............Shot a 30-3X on next to last round. Last round I had 20-2X...........was at full draw pulling pulling and the guys next to me cell phone went off................Shot a 9. One thing I did tonight was shoot with both eyes open. The place we were at it was dim and it worked great. Main thing is I got the A7 setup and shooting now and man it felt good. Didn't like the CJ Ants site so I mounted the Viper on the Sure Loc. The_Kat
was at full draw pulling pulling and the guys next to me cell phone went off................Shot a 9. Dude you stink, give it up already :D:D Good shooting, I shot last night as well.....I finally got the bow sighted in so I do have to aim right of where i wanna hit. Still got lotsa practice though before I get to being consistent.
