muggs
This game is not exactly generating hype or excitement. I guess that's what you get with the current system college football has in place. The last time these two teams play the Buckeyes came out on top, but McCoy was a freshman back then, now he's the experienced QB and the Bucks have a true freshman calling plays for them. That should be the difference. That said, the Big 12 is a passing conference and I don't think the Longhorns have faced a team that can run the ball like OSU can. That's their only hope. What are your predictions? I see the Longhorns winning 27-17.
VABuckSlayer
I pick the Longhorns as well... 24-

The_Kat
Texas has faced a run like Ohio in OU and OSU. OSU run game was one of the highest in the country. texas wins 35-

Tominator
The Bucks need to come out and play some smash mouth football like Utah did to Bama, that's their only hope. I think Texas has better athletes. I'll pick the upset. Ohio State 34-

SuperMn106
I have a feeling that Texas might win big, but with that said I will stick with the Big 10 and say... Ohio State 27 Texas 24.
buckbuster11
I like Texas.....of course it's been so long since either team has played I can barely remember who plays for who. But, given Ohio States ability to strong ability to highly disappoint in these games, I'll take Texas.

muggs
Texas wins 48-17. Dude...they're not playing Texas Tech...this is a real program we're talking about here. Trust me, the Buckeyes will be able to move the ball on the ground.
buckbuster11
Speaking of disappointing performances in big games, you catch the Rose Bowl there Johnny? Yup, ended up closer then/than I thought. I picked USC to win by 4 touchdowns. Face it, the Big Ten is overrated.

muggs
Yup, ended up closer then/than I thought. I picked USC to win by 4 touchdowns. Face it, the Big Ten is overrated. I don't think so. It's definitely a down time for the conference, but overrated...I don't think you can really call any college football conference overrated. The big guys always ebb and flow. Perfect example, the Big 12. 4-5 years ago everyone was punking it...this season they had some great teams in it. And everyone is loving it. The Buckeyes can hang with them. Penn State should have hung with USC, but terrible penalties and turnovers let it get away, and they still hung tough. If that 50 yard pass play doesn't get called back on PSU, it's a 14-14 ballgame. Instead, they had to punt and it's 21-7. USC is just too talented to play as sloppy as Penn St. did. If Penn State executes, that would have been a very close game. muggs
Here we go again with Jimmy Tressel....all about field goals. You got 4th and 2 in Texas territory, you have a phenom who can shake tackles playing QB for you, and you opt for a rushed 51 yard field goal...giving McCoy great starting field position. That play right there is enough to swing the momentum in Texas' favor. They score a TD on this drive...that could mean the game. Give me the clipboard, Jimmy...you're a liability. btw- Chrud, your coworker should work for ESPN, because he don't got a clue bro.
ruttinbuc
How did Penn State lose? They took in $18 million for the school. I agree though. If they were on their game it would have been a lot different...
