Squirrel Hunt - Pic Heavy!

Saturday I went squirrel hunting at my usual place, but it was a cold morning with a heavy frost and the squirrels weren't coming out of their trees. I got to the woods right at the break of daylight, hunted for a few hours, but never fired a shot. I had one gray squirrel within about 15 yards, but didn't take the shot. I had 2 others that were close to my shotgun range, but I guess I was just enjoying the morning and didn't feel like cleaning any squirrels.

I did take my camera with me and took many photos of the morning and a few squirrels.

I sat up beside some of these large rocks, this photos is right as daylight is breaking:

Can anyone see the gray squirrel hiding in this picture? (I have it pointed out in the one down below.)

Here's my camera zoomed in...this one barked at me for a good 10 minutes or so, everytime I would use my squirrel call.

They can really hide when they want:

Here's just a few pictures that show some of the pretty scenery.

Here is a big bees nest that I found. It was down in the bottom of a creek bed, about 5 feet off the ground. It was dormant for now, I took a few pictures and went on.

And lastly, I took this picture of my shotgun leaned up against a tree, I really like this one, in fact, it's my desktop background right now. I guess if my sling were turned the other way, it would have blended in even better.
