nativetexan
Ever heard of the Aussie smile? I had an Australian Shepherd that did that same thing. When he got excited or happy, he would "smile." Which my neighbor took as threatening and called the cops on us saying we had a vicious dog that was threatening her. I told the cops about the smile, they interacted with the dog (which would rather pee on you than attack), and they went on their merry way. Great pic! Texan_Til_I_Die
Very cool. I think that may be something that dogs learn from humans. They see us smiling or laughing when we're happy and learn to imitate the gesture.
