fly
I thought you all might enjoy seeing some more public land bruisers from IL. I didn't know the hunters, but they were camped in the same campground. The hog head with the long brow tine was from the 07 season (warm that year, notice the ice). fly
holy cow what a left side g2! Yes one of the largest I've seen. You can't tell real well from the picture, but on the right he had an almost matching (a little shorter) drop tine.

fly
What public ground were these deer taken from? The Shawnee National Forest. Lot of hunters during the gun season, but if you're willing to hike back a mile or two you can find some very nice bucks.
Ghost Hunter
Union County This msg mostly to fly, haveing put in 20 years at shawnee,,, which campgroung are you at,,, We hunted the union- alexander co area this past year, just wondering if we crossed paths, the long brow tine seams to be a genetic trait, took a good buck with a 8 incher, very heavy, union co, opening day of shotgun.
