hutchies
First time shooting competitive indoor last night First time I've shot a full round of anything with BT And I've got to say I enjoyed the heck out of it. We got an indoor range locally and a bunch of us are shooting indoor jackpot with blind draw after the shoot. Shot my first ever Vegas round last night. I bought a Sureloc Lite with a 2X scope about a week ago and got it setup on my hunting bow set at 60 lbs. Shot 12 inch stabilizer with my Goldtip XT's. Final score was a 275-4X.........XT's cost me alot of 10's and X's.............Will have my Xcutters with me next week until I can get some 2512's in..........Alot of the guys were shooting 2713's.............I didn't realize what a monster those things were til last night. I've tinkered with my BT release in the past but haven't really given it a fair chance. I made the switch about 2 weeks ago over to my Truball Ultra 3 and don't even carry another release in my bag now............I know if I didn't that I wouldn't stick with the BT. I haven't had a misfire yet and actually feel alot more comfortable shooting it than my 4 finger now. I did try out a buddy's Posten setup with Vbars on my bow............He has a 24 inch main with 2 eight inchs v bars.............and all I can say is dannnnnnnng. I actually shot if after the shoot. I shot 7 shots with it. 5 were inside out X's on Vegas face.....................I'll have me some longbars for indoor soon and if I have it my way a bow to setup for indoors.
