Got him on Thanksgiving morning in Grady County, GA (about 30 minutes north of the Florida line), at 8 AM, with a bow at 20 yards. He went 80 yards after the shot. Measuring wise he is an 11-pt. (He has 2 stickers off his base that don't meet the 1" minimum requirement.) Inside spread 17 6/8". Unofficial gross score is right at 130 3/8". He weighted 225 lbs. on the hoof. Aged him at 4.5 years old. First buck ever and first deer with a bow.:D:D:D When we processed him he had the top of his backbone broken(inside the body cavity was intact) and when we were cutting around it we found a bullet fragment.(Land owner's sis-n-law shot at a big last year and knock it down but it got back up and ran off and they never found it.) He also had also had a broken leg at one time because his leg had a big bulge were it had healed. I passed up going fishing on St. George island with my wife's family to go hunting...guess I made a good call.;) I already have the mount back, but don't have the pictures on the computer yet. I will send them when I upload them. James Wilkinson

Thats an interestion story, reminds me of one I read here on Realtree.com a few years ago about a man who arrowed a MONSTER bull elk and never found it. Killed a big elk the next year and while the elk was at the processors they cut into the mans broadhead from last year....
