texastrophies Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 After watching the game, and seeing as that is the first game I have seen tebow play, I would agree that he would be the 4th best qb in the Big 12 South. Yea, he can run the ball, but his arm and passes did not look that good to me. I predict he will be on the sidelines on Sundays if he goes as a qb, which still isn't a bad job. Bradford has great accuracy. He has the potential to be a good NFL QB, Tebow still doesn't, even though I'm starting to think someone will draft him to play QB at the next level. Tebow should come back for his senior year, keep adding to his legacy and try to win another Championship which you'd have to think he'd be favored to do. Quit your crying.................When OSU makes it to 4 BCS Championship games in 9 years you can talk..........The toilet bowl don't count. BTW.........How did OSU do in it's bowl game this year.......... I think your right Gator...........Tebow showed alot of heart and played a great game. I was really surprised at how slow OU's offense was. Normally they are fast paced and play well that way but last night their offense was so dadgum slow. Offensive line was dang near non existant and defensive line wasn't much better. We played like crap and my hats off to the Gators. I fell a sleep in the 3rd quarter and didnt wake up until this morning. Is that the way Oklahoma ran their offense all year? Is Sam Bradford aloud to read a Defense and call his own play or does he and the rest of the team have to constantly look to the sideline for instruction. That was annoying to watch!!! Do they not have enough confidence in their QB to make and audible. Because if thats the case I dont think Sam is ready for the NFL especially when the sorry .... Youo musta watched a different game then I did ... I think the team that didnt play the worste won ... I think they both played awfull and it really want a very fun game to watch even though i could care less who won or lost ... I just think they should have played way better then they did ... Yeah on some throws he looks pretty good, I think those were the ones where his receivers were pretty much open. I didn't really see him check off to many times during the game. That first INT looked pretty bad too, they guy was open, he just took to long getting the ball there and gave the safety to much time to read it. Tebow still doesn't, even though I'm starting to think someone will draft him to play QB at the next level. I am beginning to think that as well. Still mid to late second round and the earliest, but I think if someone does draft him as a QB i will be a team with a veteran starting QB who they think has 3-4 (maybe even 2) years left leaving Tebow time to develop. Heck, I actually wouldn't mind the Lions wasting a late pick on him and having him play in a year, just for the excitement he bring to the game. As for Bradford, he he's a great arm and is really accurate, those 2 interceptions he "threw" hit the receivers right in the hands, wasn't much more he could do. I really don't think either team played "bad", it's just the defense's for teams played that good. The "4th best" is really sarcasm due to what some of the OU defenders were saying before the game. Tebows first INT was really telegraphed and I seen it coming before he threw it. That deep out you can not throw late. I can think of 4-5 passes that were impressive by Tebow. The touchdown "jump" pass was right on the money. His running ability is amazing. Bradford on the other hand did not impress me that much. If he is pressured he was not that accurate but if he had time to throw and go through his progression he was, which just about every QB would be. As for being the "4th" best QB in the conference, I think Tebow is the best QB in the nation let alone the conference. What other QB can say he has led his team to a National Championship this year? I know you can't give all the credit to Tebow and the defense deserves credit also but to me Tebow basically took the game over in the 2nd half and 4th quarter. I didn't get to watch it because I was at work but it sounded like a pretty good game on the radio. Just because the defense actually showed up doesn't mean it wasn't a good game. BTW---Robert Stoops...you might want to show up for one of these BCS games sometime. BTW2---I don't know who called the game on FOX but on the radio Kirk Herbstreet and Brent Musberger totally forgot that there were other players on the field other then Tim Tebow. I mean, if Herbstreet came out today and announced that he was switching sexualities and that Tim Tebow was the object of his affection, I would not be surprised one bit. It ain't like that got blow'd out, or played Boise State or WV and got embarassed this time around. Maybe some just don't want to admit just how good Florida REALLY is!!!!:D But no, there are those that are truly upset with Stoops, and I just don't know why. OU can't get it done when it counts. Talk crap when ya actually win something. Reg season champs don't mean nothing when ya can't pull through in the post season. O and OSU you lost to Oregon.
