Strut10
For supper tonite, we had an old family standby. It's a simple mixture of ground meat, tomatoes elbow mac and a bit of onion. My grandma & grandpa called it "slumgullian", mostly. Once in a while "goulash". But everybody seems to have their own version of a name. What's yours?? mike
we always called it goulash here. Have you ever heard of Rotel? Its chopped peppers and other stuff its great to add to goulash:cool:
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I call it goulash also. Got a friend who showed me a different type of goulash, at least I think it is goulash. Instead of ground beef, use ring bologna and slice it up (like you would for cheese and crackers) and add stewed tomatoes, a chopped bell pepper, elbow macaroni, some onion (I'm not a fan of onions, but I put it in there for the flavor, I cut it into sort of big pieces), and add some salt and pepper. It's pretty darn good. We could never figure out if it counts as a type of goulash, so we just call it "stuff" :D

OJR
Goulash for me! I make it with burger, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots, celery, ketchup, salsa and lots of different spices. I call mine "Elk Camp Goulash"! It never comes out the same two times in a row because I just dump in what I want and go from there!
