kidd Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 hey guys/gals I am a 7th grade science teacher who is looking to start an archery club here at the school. I thought I would show you the purpose and ask if you would add anything or maybe some of your schools have done this in the past. I teach at a public school so hunting cannot be a focus. (and I dont want the trouble) purpose: -To show students the proper way to shoot a bow -To expose students to something new -To demostrate the physics behind shooting a bow -To Have Fun!!! If you need info on kid's archery programs you might contact someone with the Kentucky DNR or KY schools. They had a huge kid's archery program last year or the year before, with Mathews Archery even donating some equipment.
