craig mack
My condolences to Jim Swartz and his family, he was just named the next Lions head coach.
whitetailtrax
who? It was Casey Fitzsimmons. He's a small town Montana boy that made it to the big time. Very down to earth guy and was glad to talk to the kids and sign autographs and pictures and such. The kids were very excited! He even cracked a little joke about how dismall last season was. I'm not a Lions fan, but sure wish him all the best. He's an avid hunter and fisherman too.
muggs
Coming back from the guy who said drafting an LT sets your franchise back 5 years. Thomas turned out to be a much better pick than I thought...but I'd still rather have AP.
toddyboman
This afternoon I will be meeting with a current member of the Detroit Lions - he has graciously agreed to meet my kids and sign some autographs and such while he's in town. Will be a cool experience for them! Not every day that kids from Montana get to meet professional football players. It was Casey Fitzsimmons. Sounds like a neat deal for your kids......Always good to hear sports guys doing something good with or for the kids.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Yeah, I agree. I like Stafford too though. But Bradford is really accurate. He's who I'd want if I was drafting a QB. Bradford is who I would have wanted as well. With him not leaving OU, it ceratinly shakes things up a bit. I could see them going with a defensive player in the first round now, but I still think Andre Smith should be their #1 pick.
clrj3514
They have extra picks, ya know. You can find impact WRs in the 2nd-4th round too. DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal are two that come to mind from the last draft class. Somebody should have told Millen that. my thoughts exactly
