Pretty onerous stuff right there. And that's just the first thing that jumped out at me. No telling what else may be buried in the details and the legal speak. gzilla45
That's nice they want to charge me up to $25 a year for the license. I would imagine in order to get the "certification" it will be another $50 plus $10 to get fingerprinted. I think this is just the start of what the new administration is going to bring down on us. muzzy916
i sent a letter to congressmen burton. i think everyone on here should get a petition together tring to stop this. i just dont see how a country of patirots can let this happen. i love my country and if i could i would be in iraq right now fighting for it. but i love my guns and my right to have them, carry them, and purchase them. i know i havent done anything to have that right taken away and im sure everyone on here feels the same way. sorry guys just venting. wtnhunt
what do the "sportsman for obama" think? isn't this the start of what we were assured would not happen????? Exactly my thoughts, this should not happen. Wonder if the "sportsman for Obama" really believe that criminals who have possession of firearms will legally obtain their licenses? No doubt this would be a step in the wrong direction for gun owners. Anyone thinking we cannot lose our rights needs to wake up.
Texan_Til_I_Die
i sent a letter to congressmen burton. i think everyone on here should get a petition together tring to stop this...Great job sending the letter. As to a petition, those things usually don't get much attention from politicians. A phone call, letter or even an email from a constituent carries much more weight.
