Leo
This is from my recent trip to Arkansas. The levy marks the border of the property we were allowed to hunt. The field these snow geese were landing in was off limits. We got to watch them dump in there for four hours. Sure would have liked to put a sneak on this group of birds. The flock was so big that my brother couldn't photograph it with less zoom. This was taken from the blind.

Texan_Til_I_Die
That sounds like the type of snow goose hunts I usually have. Up at 4:00 am Put out 500 decoys Lay down in the cold mud Watch the sun come up Watch 4000 snows fly past you to the next rice paddy and light Pick up 500 decoys Go home

Rayzorp
So many have hit NJ that for the first time I can remember NJ state is allowing an extended Snow Goose season March of this year. The damage just a small flock cause to business landscapes is bad,,

nativetexan
There was about 10,000 of those things flying over my house last night when I got home from work. My kids wanted to watch them, but I grabbed them both by their coat hoods and drug them in the house. Then we had the "yes they are pretty, but they will crap on you" speech for the millionth time. ruttinbuc
We have them up at the reservoir where I hunt. They look like a big ice flow and the noise is incredible. I have witnessed a fox trying to put the sneak on them one time. Wished I would have had a camera along.... I'll have to get up there and get some pics... Rhino
That brings back memories of when I lived in southwest Louisiana. That was over 20 years ago and rumor has it it's worse down there now.
Shaun_300
Wow! Farmers wouldn't have to use the manure spreader for fertilizer if they had them things around at the right time of year!
Canuck2
Awesome, Leo. You could say it's 'snowing' a blizzard. Those things are out of control, especially on their nesting range up north, and are destroying habitat like crazy.
