Now that the 09 hunting season is done, or winding down for most of us, anyone thinking of any equipment changes for next season?

I am switching from feathers to vanes & have purchased some Rocky Mountain Premier broadheads, never liked messing with the rubberbands on Snypers..

Dude.

'09 just started.

I think.

Where's Steven when you need him? :D

I'm going to take my bow in to the shop and have them work it over. General cleaning and possibly a new string if I need one. I'm going to be purchasing a ground blind for next season. I have never hunted from one, but believe I need to move to areas that don't have adequate trees for a stand.

Not sure about lighted nocks yet.

Other than that I'll probably keep things as they were this season.

I'd like to take my bow in and possibly get a new string. I've also thought about getting some G5 Strikers and trying them out.

I've got a new backpack set to arrive on Monday from Eders. Bought it from there because with shipping, it was $15 less than the regular price at Cabela's...and it was on backorder 5-6 weeks from Cabela's.

Other than that, nothing will probably change.

LOL...wow....09' went so fast I can't even remember it...:-p

Well I'm going to put a Whisker Biscuit on my bow, new stabilizer, and already have sold my Fuse 6 arrow quiver and got a Fuse 4 arrow Satori quiver....back to one piece quivers..I like the convenience of being able to take them off.

At the same time I get the WB, I'll have the shop tune my bow because I'm trying to get up to 50 lbs and the strings need some twists in them to get there.

Hmmmm, aside from getting my first archery buck I really don't have many plans.

Me too. I've had my bow for 2 years now and haven't gotten anything with it. Had an opportunity on a doe this year but I passed on her hoping for a buck. I don't plan on changing any equipment on the bow but might put out a few more climbing stands or hang on stands to get more options when I walk out the back door.

I'm going to shoot a Mathews Reezen. Not sure if I'll buy one or not (I do have the money saved up for it, just in case). If I do purchase a Reezen, then my whole setup will be new.

I'm going to keep my Switchback. I'll be getting different arrows for it (if I get a Reezen, they'll both shoot the same arrows). Maybe a different sight too.

Going to be shooting a new release and new string out of my hunting setup. Might switch arrows again the nano's just didn't do it for me this year. Might also look into getting a different sight the Spott Hogg's been good to me but its ran its course.

As for my target bow. I'm not real sure what I'm going to do with it yet.
