dbHunterNY
It helps if you find and sit outside their den. Otherwise I've had some happen to pass by in site then I squeek with my hand to try and call them in. Two years ago I got one with a bow that way. So other than that I couldn't really tell ya. dlriggins
I dont hunt fox due to low numbers in my neck of the woods but I have had them come in while hunting yotes. My advice is to find a 2 stage red light one for flood and one for spot to take the shot. I have seen more fox using rodent squeek calls than rabbit in distress a smaller caliber rifle such as a 22 mag should increase the likelyhood of shooting more than one as my AR tends to be a one chance firearm for the range I have to hunt also a moving deek of smaller size (I use a weezle ball like you pick up a a toy store and they seem to like that) if you have an open field. Tominator
Rabbit in distress at night if it's legal. That's what we always used to do.
redkneck
Yeah, the only ones we called in were at night, hunting yotes. Rabbit in distress brings in all kinds of nature at night, esp foxes.

hyperflow
Here where i am we hunt timberwolf and for them we use bait, and foxes are on the bait all day. We can not hunt a night here but i thought the foxes we;re on the bait so much during the day was because if they we;re on it at night the timberwolfs would eat them as bait also If its legal to bait them they just go to your local butcher and ask for any scraps you can get. Its the only way to get a timber here, thoes things are just 2 smart
