VermontHunter
Lately I've been having some problems with my vision, so the wife thought it best I go to the eye doctor and have my eyes checked ... I just contributed my reading and near vision problem to getting older.. :o But it seems I have a caterax in my left eye which is my dominate eye .. :( I have had some eye trauma to this eye in the past and it seems it's finally caught up with me .. The eye doctor doesn't want to use eye surgery just yet and wants to see how things progress, so for now just reading glasses to relieve any eye strain. See SteveB. I knew there had to be a legit reason for missing those 2 tied up Antelope this past Sept. .. :D First time ever for me having my eye's dilated ... man that was a trip, and the reason why I didn't post much last night .. :D So hopefully things will stay stable with my left eye, or it's going to be eye surgery time ... Wish me luck folks .. I'll need it ..

Turkeygirl
Will keep ya in my prayers bud...hope everything goes ok. Cataract surgery is pretty common these days it seems. I had eye surgery for a traumatic cataract when I was 8.....pine needle poked me in the eye, straight into the lens in my eye, everything was white because the lens was destroyed...so you aren't that bad off, lol. buckee
See SteveB. I knew there had to be a legit reason for missing those 2 tied up Antelope this past Sept. .. :D Good try sunshine. First time ever for me having my eye's dilated ... man that was a trip, and the reason why I didn't post much last night .. :D Yeah, it's weird eh. The last time I got mine dilated the doc said I should sit in the waiting room for a while before driving. So I sat for a few minutes and everything seemed just fine. I went outside, got in the truck and started driving home. All of a sudden the sky cleared and the sun came out from behind the clouds... WHOO MAMA..that really hurt, and I had to squint like crazy, to get home. Tears were just pouring down my face and I was having a real hard time seeing. So hopefully things will stay stable with my left eye, or it's going to be eye surgery time ... Wish me luck folks .. I'll need it .. God be with you buddy. I hope it gets better instead of worse.

Canuck2
Take care of them eyes, Luke. They are, by far, the most important sense we have. The good news is cataracts are good candidates for corrective surgery.
