Shaun_300
What a day! Dave and I went out this afternoon and tore the walleye up like crazy! The biggest one of them all, Dave hooked into him and got him right up to the hole, and went to lift him out. Well the fish spat the hook out RIGHT as he was lifting it, it went back down the hole about 8 inches under the water! I jumped down and reached for it and put the grip on him, I don't know how I did it, I was right up to my elbow in water and pulled him out!!! We were jumping around like 3 year olds shouting and screaming. Wish we could have got that on video!!!! :D:D Here's some pics, this is the fish that nearly got away! The total count for the day, 12 walleye and 1 perch! We caught a few more perch but they were too small to keep. Mmmmmmmmm.... fish for supper!:D

Randy
It looks to me like you figured something out. I'm also guessing we will be seeing more pics like this from you. Congrats on the slaying! I love the before pics but can you save the after (dinner plate) pics for yourself?

Congrats on the slaying! I love the before pics but can you save the after (dinner plate) pics for yourself? Yeah we figured out after losing several minnows that they were not getting them in their mouths enough to hook them and they were getting free meals. We had a couple dead minnows so we cut them up a bit and tried that. That was the ticket! We hardly missed one after that. :D

muggs
Nice work Shaun. I got 4 on Saturday...the lake has a 15 inch minimum size limit and all of mine were between 14 and 14.5 inches. A lot of dinks. I got a 13" crappie though...I would love to have a day like that.
