Well the reason I'm confused is I had a WB and I loved it, its just that it tore my fletchings off. I'm nervous to get a drop away because I've heard stories that its hard to get them tuned in just right and I'm worried that my arrow is gonna fall off during a draw back.

If you are using the WB Rest switch your fletching to the Bohning Blazer vanes or the Bohning Killer vanes. When fletching be sure to add a drop of glue to the leading end of the vanes .. ;)

Luke gave you some great advise. I had the same problem with my WB last spring. I switched to Blazers and I have never looked back.

Do you have a fletching jig to fix them?

I've been shooting AAE Cavalier Max Hunters on my arrows though a Whisker Biscuit on my Martin Cheetah with good results. Blazers work well too. The only problem with the WB is that it wears out too quickly. I've got a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter on my Mathews that I shoot regularly. A little Rem Oil occasionally keeps it working fine.

G5 expert II, Trophy Taker, Muzzy Zero Effect, QAD, or Ripcord.;)

The ones in bold are the rests I currently have. Have heard great things about the others.

No, No, No, I believe in supporting your local bow shop but your sticks that you fling at game is a personal touch sort of thing ... :D;)

Learnig how to customize your arrows is more than just that ,, it's a way of fine tunning your setup to your likes and needs.

Besides is a great past time while watching tv and avoiding the (wife) ...:rolleyes:

Here are my latest creations with the help of Onestringer Custom Arrow Wraps .. the design is all mine .. ;)

Here's something else I came up with and might try ..

As you can see, things you can do can become endless by doing it yourself .. ;)

Well, lol I'll have to learn how to do stuff like that, I wouldn't know where to even start. Are the blazers glued on straight? I've seen other fletchings that are curved. Hey VH whats a good shaft to use on my Katera. I'm really have no clue at all about what sizes to use, I want to use carbon, most likely to be pulling 65-80 pounds and I want to shoot 100 grain heads. Is there any other specs that I need to give you to get a good answer or do I need to tell you thing else?

As for the pin size .. the numbers indicate the size of the pins and this you will have to decided for yourself ... Me .. I like the .029's for my sights .. ;)
