Shaun_300
Gidday fellow Canucks, where is everybody in here?! What's everybody up to this winter? I've been doing quite a bit of ice fishing and a little wolf hunting. We've been doing good with the ice fishing so far, my buddy and I have only been out to the shack 3 or 4 times and we have 20 walleyes so far! I've got some pics up in the fishing forum if you want to have a look. Anyways, just thought I'd check in, hope all is well everyone! Canuck2
Hey gang - glad I peeked in here. Sounds like you've caught some good meals, Shaun. Muff, nice to be spending time with the kids. Hunta, welcome to the site; I'm at the other end of the country in BC. As for my winter, I'm sitting around cursing the snow and recovering from shoulder surgery in December. Here's the results of this past hunting season: www.angelfire.com/bc/canuck2/current2008.html
rbduck
Well, it`s been a little brisk out here in the prairies these last six weeks or so. We`ve been averaging about -30 with some really nasty(-45) windchills. Working outside in some of this weather doesn`t help either. We finally had to wear our long sleeved shirts and some of us actually had to put our hands in our pockets. Icefishing is good once we drill through the 4ft of ice on the Red River. Snowmobilers are having fun, trappers are doing great, and the Jacks are starting to herd up. Our annual "Bunny Buster Hunter" will soon be upon us to. Oh yeah, we`re still the "Slurpee Capital of the World" too. Ron:D

drkillemquick
Hey everybody, haven't been on here much lately. I have a 6 month old at home, and pretty much all my spare time goes to him. Just bot back from B.C. a week ago, it was nice to get some horse back riding in, and to see the wifes family. Hopefully I can get on here some more in the months ahead.

pigeon
WOW I found the Canadians. It's been sunny here on Vancouver Island this week, so I finally got to do some gardening. Takes the edge off the winter blues.

Canuck2
I had my son come over and shovel the huge snow load off the roof in case it started to rain and got really heavy. The nice view I usually have out the dining room window is now a mountain of snow and it's liable to be there until July. What's 'gardening'? Nice to hear from fellow Canadians...Al
hyperflow
This year was a wierd year for deer and fish, On my land i had a bunch of bucks that if i wouldn;t of had a trail camera i would of had no clue they we;re there cuz they only came out at night. Fishing here on lake nippissing is DEAD, ither the natives netted out the lake or there just not bitting. This is the worst i have seen it in my life. Al3006
Nice hearing from you hyperflow I have been reading about the poorest results in 50 years on Nipissing in Ont Out of Doors forum.....I hunt deer at our camp north of Huntsville & moose in northwest Ont. near Kenora....Al
hyperflow
Yeah nippissing is brutal for walley, are bass are getting bigger tho in the last few years. Im not much of a walley guy anyways so i dont mind all that much. You should be hunting deer in kanora, i been hunting vermillion bay for a few years now. I have yet to pull the triger on a monster there yet tho but i did pass up on a few 140's and low 150's. Saw a few 160+ that we;re lucky But man its the land of the monsters
