AJ Posted February 3, 2005 Report Share Posted February 3, 2005 Re: Barrel question 2 According to the book, yours is a Belgium gun, its a Grade 1. It does not appear to have a solid or vent rib. If this is the case, it is probably in the $400-$575 range. This is a guess based on the pics you have sent me. Your mileage may vary. The book does say that the "Early models with the safety mounted in front of the trigger are not as desirable as there are potential safety problems inherent in the design." I have the exact gun in excellent condition. my dad gave it to me several years ago---told me I would be the only son who would appreciate a Belgium Browning Shotgun! sweet gun my friend---don't shoot slugs with it--go spend the money on a slug gun!
