fly
Took advantage of being the only one in the office today and scanned some older pictures. Thought I'd post a few of my dad and his better moments over the years. Notice the buck in the first picture (2002) has a rare double white patch! We never realized it until looking at the pictures today. Pretty much made his day. The last 3 are of his biggest buck he took in 2000. I let him hunt in my tree stand that morning. At the time I had never shot a deer even close to that big and I was wishing I had hunted that stand. Now since he's getting older he doesn't hunt as hard or as long. That buck will likely be his biggest ever and now I'm really glad I let him hunt in my stand that morning. He sure looks happy. If you all have any pics of pop post away. GWSmith
I have a bunch of pic's of Dad since we've been hunting together the last few years. Here's a pic I took of him, did the magazine cover on some website(I wish I could remember which one), and sent it to him in a frame. He's got it hanging in his house underneath the mount of the Buck! LOL...and one of him "Waving" to my friends on the Internet from his ground blind: ...and my favorite hunting pic of him so far: Edited January 20, 2009 by GWSmith
fly
That's awesome Gary. If you think of that website let me know I'd like to do that and give it to my dad for fathers day this September.
Shaun_300
This is the only one I could find on my photobucket account. If I find some more I'll post them up later. This was after a successful grouse hunt a few years ago.

PotashRLS
This is my Dad this past September with his 1st Black Bear. My brother was hunting with him as I had to work and wished I could have been along. We were sure proud of the old boy.
Bowtech_archer07
Great pics of your dads guys... GW said it best with his post "quality time is hunting with dad" All of my best moments afield have been with my dad close by. He was there when I killed my first turkey, my first deer, my biggest buck and my double-bearded longbeard that I harvested last year. It really is fun being able to experience something like that with someone you love so much.

TuffnufOutdoors
After a falling out with my father and not speaking for over 10 years we let bygones be bygones and reconnected. He came down to Indiana where I live now from Michigan where he lives to hunt with us this past deer season. No luck but good times we had. Here are some picks from the day before the gun season started. We were joking how he could help at 78. We found him a job holding the strings from the feed bags (Joke about not working to hard) Then he was trying out the blind we had set up for him.
