hoythunter37
Hello all I am pretty new to this forum and trying to know the ropes. I all of you all have some pretty good information and I am looking forward to learn from all of you all. But I was wondering if anyone knows if MO is starting to shed yet? I have been talk to quite a few of my buddies and bosses and they are tryin to tell me that they are startin to shed or if the just trying to make me go on a wild goose chase. goodnottygy
Some half racks have been seen... but I always wait until at least mid February in Missouri. I also have tame whitetails in a pen, (that I raise as a hobby) and they all still have both sides of their racks.... but the bucks in there do not jump fences and stuff like wild deer, thus stay on a bit longer. I have also went about this time of the year before and saw bucks with at least 1/2 of their racks still on their heads. March is even better. toddyboman
I live pretty close to you......I have not seen any shedding yet.....Or atleast don't have any trail camera pics of any yet. I do know of a few local guys that have found a few already....not many. I too usually don't start looking to much until February. Good luck
