doubleA Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Howa makes the "Vanguard" series for Weatherby, they are a conventional front 2 lug design. They have a good reputaion of being a solid gun. The Howa 1500 is very simular, it only lacks a few the bolt fluting and shroud I think.
