redkneck
I picked up a Rossi youth trifecta (.243/.22/20GA) for my kids to shoot. I've already snapped on 3 out of 12 rounds (winchester power point 100gr). I called my dealer and he told me I could squirt some WD-40 down around the firing pin because maybe the thick oil they pack the gun in is causing the pin to seize a bit in cold weather, or that i could send the gun back. I do notice that the misfired primers are not nearly dimpled as much as the others. Anyone have any suggestions?
Gator
Guy I work with has had that same problem with his son's Rossi. Think he has gone as far to clean around the firing pin. I know this year he had problems with it, even after having no problems after a good cleaning last year. He has even changed ammo, going from Remington to Winchester, and still had a problem. I'm assuming this is just with the .243?

bluelund79
Seems odd, I got the 223/20 ga and made sure the barrel was broken in before I gave it to my godson. That was 100 rounds of 223 and I did shoot a round of trap w/ the 20 ga barrel to see point of impact. Hopefully their customer service will take care of you if the retailer where you bought doesn't first. Let us know what the exact problem was/and how it was fixed in case anyone else has a similar problem...Good luck, Eric
